It has been quite a while… The experience in RVing are now things of the past as we settle in Jocotepec.
This week (and month) is important for our Mexican friends as they have their National Day on September 16. Tuesday night we had a nice firework along with firearms discharges at 11pm. The music ended it up around 6, when the light of day was slowly coming in.
We felt it was appropriate to start a new blog to reflect the changes that are affecting us. We are adapting to the Mexican ways, and found them quite pleasant. Without being critical, it is quite obvious that we are more inclined to stay with Mexicans, than with ‘Expatriates’.
However, we have a good French speaking friends, Laurent et Monique. She from Paris, he from Shefferville, QC.
From Wiki: “A blog (a contraction of the term "weblog")is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order[…] others function as more personal online diaries.”
Louise and I will share news, events, as they happen to our lives, with the hope that our experiences can benefits our friends. Our dilemma is the language of this blog, as we have many friends who speak English and many who speak French.
Hi Louise and Jerome. My name is Keith Briscoe. I discovered your other blog of rv experiences through google. I'm a 70 yr old American interested in traveling to the Lakeside area and staying for a few months in my 32 ft. 5th wheel trailer. I really enjoyed your blog. Could you be so kind as to give me your candid opinions of Roca Azul RV Park in Jocopetic and the cuota and roads from the Nogales border crossing? I'm a solo traveler without animals, and I speak pretty good Spanish, as I was an ESL teacher for many years. Thanks, Keith
